Daikon Miso Soup

Traditionally in Asia, noodle soups had a bone soup base topped with braised or stir fried meat and greens--a hearty comfort in a bowl.
- 1 can chicken/vegetable broth *
- ½ t garlic powder (or 2 minced cloves)
- ¼ t white pepper
- 1 t. sesame oil
- 2 cups daikon chunks
- 2 chopped green onions
- 1 t miso paste
Cook daikon in hot broth pot until soft. Reduce heat and mix in miso (do not boil after adding miso). Serve in bowls, garnish with scallions.
